Cumberland Container expanded its shipping fleet with the addition of two new Freightliner Cascadia tractors.  This increase brings its total shipping capabilities to 8 tractors outfitted with electronic logging and GPS, one box truck for smaller deliveries, more than 50 trailers and a team of expert drivers who all have over 20 years of driving experience.  The new Cascadia trucks are the first in Cumberland’s fleet to have automatic transmission and were purchased with the full array of the most advance safety technology. The new trucks complete the almost total replacement and upgrade of Cumberland’s fleet in less than 4 years.

Cumberland Container has remained open as an essential business during the pandemic and has always been committed to a safe working environment for its valued employees.  In a commitment to The Tennessee Pledge, Cumberland has taken steps to reduce the impact the COVID-19 virus could have on its operations by installing a state-of-the-art Power Breezer.  The Power Breezer uses evaporative technology and provides a dispersal mechanism to homogeneously vaporize recommended CDC water-soluble disinfectants, allowing Cumberland to sanitize its entire facility on a daily basis. 

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) has caused appropriate concern across our nation; however, there have not been any operational delays at Cumberland Container, and we will continue to provide our services.
