Jared Properties LLC has purchased 12.26 acres of land immediately adjacent to Cumberland Container’s main campus. Jared Properties LLC shares ownership with Cumberland Container and the purchase is for Cumberland’s possible expansion at the appropriate time. The new property and Cumberland’s current campus brings the total possible acreage to 27.12 acres. This new purchase ensures Cumberland Container is no longer landlocked and has more opportunities to grow its facilities. This will aid Cumberland’s continued expansion and its ability to better serve our customers’ needs!
Cumberland continues to improve and expand its operations with the addition of new equipment such as the recently installed J&L Specialty Folder Gluer and the first of two Alliance Pre-feeders! With our existing Bobst 135" Specialty Folder Gluer, we are one of the few box companies in the Southeast with multiple specialty folder gluers. Adding pre-feeders improves Cumberland's high graphic, quick turn capabilities. For our e-commerce clients, our die cutters and flexo folder gluers have inside-outside single pass capacity and our litho laminator augment our high graphic capability.
