In November, Cumberland added the next advancements to its cadrie of manufacturing equipment with the installation of its new Apstar 3-color (expandable to 5) Rotary Die Cutter and an AG Stacker. This installation will replace two other machines and do their combined work in ¼ the time it previously took
Additionally, this Apstar can be expanded to print 5 colors including 1 or 2 colors for inside print on one pass for more complex jobs in the future.
Cumberland Container expanded its shipping fleet with the addition of two new Freightliner Cascadia tractors. This increase brings its total shipping capabilities to 8 tractors outfitted with electronic logging and GPS, one box truck for smaller deliveries, more than 50 trailers and a team of expert drivers who all have over 20 years of driving experience. The new Cascadia trucks are the first in Cumberland’s fleet to have automatic transmission and were purchased with the full array of the most advance safety technology. The new trucks complete the almost total replacement and upgrade of Cumberland’s fleet in less than 4 years.
