Cumberland Container Corporation was founded on October 21, 1968 and began production in July of 1969 in Monterey, Tennessee’s Industrial Zone. With five employees using used equipment and a 6,000 sq. ft. facility on a three-acre campus, we began producing boxes with the primary goal of supplying corrugated packaging and solutions for industrial customers in the Upper Cumberland region.
After five decades of growth, we now have 15 acres of land, 263,000 sq. ft. of sprinkled facilities for production and warehousing, a diverse selection of machinery. A proud corporate citizen, Cumberland Container is the second eldest industry in Monterey, TN and has grown to be its second largest employer retaining an average of 85 employees. We are committed to providing excellence in packaging for the Tennessee, Southern and Middle Kentucky, Northern Georgia and Northern Alabama areas. We have a successful track record in the corrugated industry and a continued focus on the future to find better and more efficient ways to service its customers.
